The Issaquah School Board will hold a special meeting for the purpose of having an Executive Session to discuss with legal counsel about legal risks of current or proposed action pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i). In addition to the Board, Superintendent Tow-Yick and legal counsel will be present. This meeting is expected to last 60 minutes.
Executive Sessions are not open to the public and no action will be taken.
SPECIAL NOTE: This meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The agenda and materials may be modified up to 24 hours prior to the meeting; after that time, any agenda modifications will be addressed at the meeting.

The Cedar Trails Elementary School community gathered on Aug. 29 for a dedication ceremony before the school's Meet the Teacher event. "It was so wonderful to see so many familiar and fresh faces. There were lots of smiles and hugs which felt 'normal.' I am so incredibly impressed with our community!" Principal Tera Coyle said.

Meet Principal Tera Coyle
Hi, Cedar Trails families! When I think about the best things about my job as a principal, the KIDS are what comes to mind. It’s so awesome to see them grow socially, emotionally and academically. A few fun facts about me: I loved the book “Eragon,” my favorite kind of food is Thai food, and I would love to visit Italy someday. I have played soccer most of my life, and still enjoy watching as much soccer as I can!

MTSS is shaping the student experience at our school and throughout our district. Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, or MTSS, is a nationally recognized, evidence-based framework guiding our approach to academics, social emotional learning, behavior and attendance.
2016 Bond Success
To meet the continued enrollment growth in our district, we opened our doors in August of 2021. As the districts newest elementary school, we house up to 650 students. Cedar Trails Elementary includes 26 classrooms and a playfield, bus/circulation areas and new parking.
