Hello Cedar Trails Families ~
What a wild ride this week has been. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you and give a few reminders...
When your child misses school, please let the office team know in order to avoid an unexcused absence. You may call 425-837-6509, or email CTAttendance@issaquah.wednet.edu to report the absence. Please include your child's FULL name and reason for the absence, and copy your child's teacher as a courtesy. Thank you.
The Cedar Trails staff loved the bagel brunch during our first conference day, featuring all sorts of deliciousness; from bagels and rolls, cream cheeses, and fruit bars, to beverages! We appreciate the time, effort, and energy that went into making our brunch/lunch so wonderful! Cedar Trails Staff APPRECIATES you!
The Health Room is in need of clothing donations for the following items...
November 29 - December 2 - Scholastic Book Fair (extended hours today: 4-7 PM)
December 19 - January 2 - Winter Break, No School
The Issaquah School District invites the community to view our annual report online for the 2021-22 school year. The report contains information about student achievement, programs and services and revenues and expenditures, along with links to learn more for those who are interested. The Annual Report is created each year as part of the School Board’s Executive Limitation 9 (EL-9).
Superintendent Heather Tow-Yick has completed her first 100 days on the job, and is reflecting on all the things she has learned from students, staff, families and community members. In this video, Tow-Yick shares the main themes and goals that will be used as the district works to shape its programs and assess spending for the next two years.
Per the 2022-2023 School Year calendar, March 17, 2023 was previously a no-school day designated as an inclement weather make-up day. Due to last Thursday, Dec. 1’s school closure, March 17 has been converted to a school day for all students and staff. An updated calendar is now available on our website at the link above.
High School students, it’s time to register for Great Careers! This is your opportunity to tour career training programs, meet and talk to a wide range of working professionals and educational representatives who provide a window into careers that you can pursue through on-the-job training, certification, apprenticeship, or two-year degree programs. This year, the event will be on Thursday, Feb. 16 at Lake Washington Institute of Technology.
We want to honor the important parent-teacher conferences that were canceled due to weather, by rescheduling them for Monday, Dec. 12, 2022. As a result, there will be no school for elementary students on Dec. 12. We plan to keep the conference schedule the same as planned for Dec. 1 but teachers will adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate all families. If your Nov. 30 conference was canceled, please expect communication from your student’s teacher.
