Principal's End-of-Year Message - 6-11-2026

Message From

Dear Cedar Trails Community ~

As we close out the 2025–2026 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect, express gratitude, and share how deeply I have missed being with you during these final weeks/months of the school year.

This has truly been a year of growth in every sense—academic, social, emotional, and behavioral. I am so proud of our students for their hard work, resilience, and kindness, and I am incredibly grateful to our dedicated staff who make that growth possible each and every day. Your commitment to our students does not go unnoticed, and I cannot thank you enough for another outstanding year.

I also want to share how much I have missed being present during this special time of year. In my 18 years of being a principal, this is the first time I have not been able to personally finish the school year—and it has certainly been the most difficult part of my recovery from my recent shoulder surgery. Please know that I have been thinking of our students, staff, and families often and cheering you on from afar.

To our 5th graders—congratulations! We are so proud of the young people you have become. While it’s hard to say goodbye, we are excited for all that lies ahead of you in middle school. Remember, you will always have a home here. Come back and visit—we would love to see you—and don’t forget us!

To the families moving on to new adventures, we wish you all the best. Thank you for being a valued part of our community. You will always be part of our school family.

To all our families, thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year. It truly takes a village, and we are grateful to walk alongside you in your children’s learning journeys.

To our fantastic PTSA board and volunteers, we would not be the incredible school that we are without your hands-on support. THANK YOU for all your countless hours and incredible energy that you give to our community.

Looking ahead, I am excited to return in late July as I continue preparing for the 2026-2027 school year and reconnect with everyone in late August to kick it off. I cannot wait to be back in the halls, visiting classrooms, and sharing in the day-to-day joy of learning together again.

Wishing you all a restful, safe, and joy-filled summer. Thank you for a wonderful year—you have made it one to remember and celebrate.

With appreciation,
Principal Coyle
