Flipping Through a Week of Page-Turning Fun

Student dressed as book character

Each March schools around the country celebrate reading.  This event is not only celebrates the joy of reading; it's a movement that encourages children and adults alike to pick up a book and celebrate the community and connection that stories bring us.

This year Cedar Trails Library hosted some very special events to celebrate books.  Authors Ben Clanton and Andy Chou Musser inspired us to be authors and illustrators, Cedar Trails hosted a Bedtime Stories event, Book Character Dress Up Day, and last but not least, students brought stuffed animals to school for our annual Stuffed Animal Sleepover!  It was a week not to be forgotten!  Be sure to check out our video to the Stuffed Animal Sleepover and our week of reading events.

A very special thank you to our Cedar Trails PTSA for sponsoring our outstanding authors!
